1-EXPRESSIVE PAINTING
The first artistic approach brings the spectator back to his childhood through a universe colored by the systematic presence of very expressive traces from the childish universe going so far as to represent a character and on the other hand it relates the wounds, the fears, the emotional experiences that life provides.
My personal artistic approach is based on the experience of children who express themselves without restraint with their know-how. The academic techniques of adults are abandoned in favor of a pure line based on no convention, only that of pure emotion!
I feel close to the artists of abstract expressionism or the Cobra movement with Asger Jorn, Pierre Aleshinsky...
2-INSTALLATION, SCULPTURE AND ANIMATION
The second direction is based on transmission of knowledge. How to connect the human being with the link of the universal conception and his relation to the Earth through the ages until now?
The volume requires several know-how and artistic techniques. The cooperation with professional, industrial or handicraft fields are part of my artistic goal as an art process . My art communicates between row material and especially the yarn very often used in my 3D creations.
It links the human being to cells, to chromosomes, to secret identity and more generally to life recalled by the clay, the water, the air, the sun from which our cells come.
I personally read Georges Bataille description and analysis in the book La peinture préhistorique Lascaux ou la naissance de l'Art with passion. Fabienne Verdier is also one of my favourit contemporary artist.
